NUS FoodTech Challenge is an annual competition

that brings together students from various tertiary educational institutes

to brainstorm and develop innovative food-tech ideas

to tackle pressing issues facing the food industry today.

  • 2-4 (International undergraduates)

Go-getters Participating in the Food Tech Challenge was a meaningful experience for our team. Working closely together under tight timelines pushed us to communicate clearly, leverage each other’s strengths, and adapt quickly when challenges arose. With the support of industry professionals, we learned how to translate our food science knowledge into practical, consumer-focused solutions while balancing feasibility, innovation, and impact. The process strengthened our teamwork, problem-solving skills, and confidence in presenting our ideas. Beyond the technical learning, the experience also reinforced our shared passion for creating thoughtful, sustainable food solutions.
