  • Only non-Singapore residents are eligible to participate in the international track of NUS FoodTech Challenge 2023. Participants residing in Singapore can consider participating in the local track instead!

  • This competition is open to undergraduates from ALL countries.

  • Teams should be prepared to commit to all key event dates throughout the challenge. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

  • All entries for Preliminary Submission should be submitted by the stipulated deadline. Late entries will not be considered or accepted.

Who can apply?

  • Open to all undergraduates from ALL countries.

  • Participants can sign up as a team of 3-5.

  • Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged!

Challenge Deliverables

  • After attending the Pre-Competition Online Workshop, all teams are required to submit a 3-5 minutes video entry addressing their allocated problem statement for Preliminary Submission by 7 June.

  • Shortlisted teams will advance to the Finals (held online). Participants will further refine their ideas and pitch their ideas to the panel of judges.

Challenge Awards

Winner: SGD 2000 Cash Prize

Runner-up: SGD 1000 Cash Prize
       

Both winner and runner-up will also receive post-event support from NUS Enterprise (support varies on a case-by-case basis).     
 

Pre-Competition

Online Workshop

 Date : 22 - 25 May 

Participate in informative webinars held by industry experts about the basics of food product development, as well as effective pitching skills to market your product!

The workshop will be held online.

Preparation Phase

 Date : 22 Jun - 3 Jul
*For finalists only

Finalists will receive online mentorship guidance from industry experts in preparation for the Finals pitching.
